The Honda Pilot is a powerful crossover SUV, engineered for quality and durability, as well as high levels of functionality and comfort. It features unit body construction and a fully independent suspension, designed to provide a more car-like driving experience with crisp, predictable handling and a smooth ride.
The front-wheel drive offers an 8-passenger configuration with four trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L and Touring while the four-wheel drive includes those trims but also offers a 7-passenger Elite trim. All trim levels feature a 280-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. The LX, EX and EX-L come with a six-speed automatic transmission while Touring and Elite trims get a nine-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment on the LX includes 18-inch aluminum wheels, climate control, three rows of seating, Bluetooth wireless phone/audio streaming, Lane Keeping Assist System, Collision Mitigation Braking System and pedestrian detection. EX trims add LED front fog lights, power driver seat, heated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, voice activated audio system with HD radio and SiriusXM, body-color door handles, Adaptive Cruise Control, HondaLink, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Smart Entry remote, Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Monitor. The EX-L trim adds a power moonroof, power liftgate, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power passenger seat, leather upholstery, memory for driver seat and exterior mirrors and HomeLink. Touring adds features that include roof rack rails, tilt-down mirrors, chrome door handles, illuminated front cup holders, 20-inch wheels, heated rear seats, voice activated climate control, CabinTalk, rear entertainment system with Blu-Ray Player, navigation system with voice recognition, HD digital traffic display and front and rear parking sensors. The Elite completes the lineup and gets exclusive premium features that include panoramic roof, power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors, second row captain chairs, illuminated rear cup holders, wireless device charging, heated steering wheel and rain detecting wipers.
